History: The Bridges Team originated five years ago as a result of Community Roundtable concerns regarding concern an obvious gap in services for area youth, as expressed by school personnel and others. In early 2014, the Bridges Team became an official working committee under the umbrella of Thrive Chelan Valley in order to collaborate with other youth advocacy groups, clubs and programs in the Chelan Valley.

Vision Statement: “Advocacy in local schools changes the lives of students and improves communities”.

Mission Statement: The Bridges Team, a working committee of THRIVE Chelan Valley, partners with Chelan and Manson School Districts with the primary objective of connecting schools to the community by leveraging support and removing obstacles in meeting basic needs (food, clothing, shelter), services (social/emotional, medical), and resources for area students.
