Barb Hageman
I was born and raised in Tacoma and earned my degree from the University of Washington in Medical Technology/Laboratory Medicine. I spent most of my adult life in the Bothell, Kirkland, Woodinville area with a career in healthcare. My family came to Chelan in the summer and shoulder seasons to relax. I moved here full-time with my husband and our dog in 2020.
As a long-time member of the United Methodist church in Woodinville I had the opportunity to serve the homeless as part of Tent City, participate in Friends of Youth and most recently help support Afghanistan refugees who relocated to the Sea Tac area.
I was introduced to Thrive when we started regularly attending the Lake Chelan UMC. I was so impressed by the facility and what is being done to support our local youth. I am very honored and excited to be on the board and help the organization and the area youth Thrive!
