about our teen center

The Thrive Teen Center represents a long-term partnership with the City of Chelan, where Thrive provides a safe and relaxing environment for teens in the greater Chelan valley to have a warm meal, socialize, listen to music, play games, and more!

Enjoy a variety of games, including two pool tables, a Foosball table and an air hockey table, as well as cards, puzzles and many board games. It isn’t uncommon to find a movie playing on the TV, either!

The Thrive Teen Center is currently open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-10pm, and is located at the Lake Chelan United Methodist Church.

We want you to come share your passions at the Teen Center, whether its hanging out with teens, leading an activity, preparing a meal, providing transportation, or serving on the Teen Center Leadership Team.

Our primary needs for volunteers currently include:

  • Supervisors: Adults who consistently oversee operations on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Teen Center
  • Volunteers: Adults who hang out and socialize with teens during hours of operation
  • Meal Prep/Donation: Community members who prepare/serve meals on Friday and Saturday evenings
