It’s almost time for the annual Fifty Five Fudge

It’s almost time for the annual Fifty Five Fudge & Thrive event! This Saturday (5/4) and Sunday (5/5) at Culinary Apple: every five pieces of fudge that you buy, $5 goes to Thrive! Did you know that $5 is the cost of one of our weekend meal bags? Our weekend meal bags are handed out each Friday and contain enough food to help support a student with food insecurity throughout the weekend. $5 can make a huge difference in the life of a local student. On Saturday, we’ll have Thrive volunteers, board members, and staff at Culinary Apple throughout the day to share more about what we do and how you can get involved! Hope to see you there!

We are so incredibly fortunate to live in a commun

We are so incredibly fortunate to live in a community that supports our youth! Our April Thrive Together event was hosted by the Historic Ruby Theatre, complete with popcorn, beverages and treats. We watched “Inside Out”, which is always a good reminder of how our memories and emotions work together- poignant for sure. It was a lovely evening with a great group of kids and mentors. Thanks to everyone!!

Happy National Volunteer Week!! We would absolutel

Happy National Volunteer Week!! We would absolutely not be able to serve youth in this valley without our amazing volunteers. From our board members, to our teen center volunteers, to our mentors, to our big event volunteers, to our behind the scenes (stuffing envelopes, doing laundry, planning events, etc.) volunteers... every single one of you are truly a gift to students in our communities. We know that life is busy and hectic, and sometimes it’s hard to find that extra time. We hope you all know how big of an impact you are making, in one of the best ways... on our children!❤️ Thank you for every minute you put in to helping them know that they are valued and loved and supported.

We wish we had pictures of each of our volunteers (future goal!), but here are a few highlights from some truly amazing people. We are blessed to know all of you.

We are so excited to announce that we were the rec

We are so excited to announce that we were the recipients of a Sounders Grant through Mentor Washington! This grant will help us sustain and grow our mentoring program! Mentor Washington has been an incredible resource for us, providing training and resources to make sure our mentoring program is the best it can be. Thank you, Mentor Washington, for all that you’ve done to help us support youth in Manson and Chelan!

We learned so much at our Quarter 2 Volunteer Trai

We learned so much at our Quarter 2 Volunteer Training from Fletcher Ellingson! He gave us tools on how to overcome things like anxiety, self doubt, and other obstacles that get in the way of feeling good about ourselves and life! These are strategies we’ll be able to pass on to all of the students we work with. Thankful for our teen center volunteers, mentors, and board members that were able to make it!

That was such a fun event! We couldn’t have don

That was such a fun event! We couldn’t have done it without our formal wear donors, volunteers, space at CHS to host the event, and space at CVH to store the items for the rest of the year! We gave away 30 dresses and lots of jewelry this year! We just did the drawing for the prom hairstyle gift certificates..... and they’re going to one senior in Manson and one senior in Chelan! We’ve reached out to each student and will deliver them on Monday.

We hope you all have a wonderful time at prom!
