NESHA BREMMEYER

I was born and raised in the Lake Chelan Valley & am a Chelan High graduate which makes my job at the Middle School that I attended, extra special. After high school I was fortunate enough to explore the United States. After completing my undergraduate at Washington State University (GO COUGS!), I moved to Richmond, VA for one year to begin my Master’s degree. I completed my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Washington in 2014. My deep rooted passion for mental health support then led me to my first counseling position as a therapist on a transdisciplinary (PACT) team, working with chronic mental illness. This inevitably guided me into my position as a middle school counselor & and I couldn’t be more grateful for my life to have come full circle.

My husband and I have enjoyed building a life here in the valley and try to get our two girls outside & on the lake as much as we can. The Chelan Valley has so much to offer our youth & continuing to foster a love for the beauty of the Pacific Northwest is something that’s really important to us.

I’ve been a part of Thrive in some capacity for over four years. First, as a middle school counselor advocating & educating our families on what Thrive has to offer, then as a Cares Team Leader & now as the Board Secretary. Each of these experiences has given me the chance to surround myself with volunteers in our valley whose heart & generosity for our kids continually blows me away.
