Stacy Bjarnason
Stacy was born and raised in Wenatchee and has been visiting the lake for more than 45 years. She loved growing up in this area and experiencing the four seasons, especially summers on Lake Chelan. Stacy graduated from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business with a degree in accounting and worked as a tax CPA for six years before shifting to bookkeeping/accounting.
Since 2010 Stacy and her husband have owned property in the Chelan area and quickly realized that small-town life was a better fit for them. Once their kids were grown and out of the nest, they made plans to move to Chelan full-time and have been here since early 2020.
Stacy first heard about Thrive during the pandemic and was impressed with the many ways that the organization supports the youth in the Chelan valley. She is passionate about youth feeling connected and accepted and loves the various programs that Thrive offers. She is excited to be a part of Thrive’s board and helping to grow the organization.
